INDIA DIGEST MAGAZINE
“India Digest” is a quarterly general interest Myanmar language magazine published by the Embassy of India in Yangon. The magazine aims to be a bridge between the two ancient neighbouring cultures of India and Myanmar, who have influenced each other throughout the centuries.
India Digest published in January, April, July and December each year focuses on social, cultural and economic aspects of the two countries. The magazine also features bilateral events during the year.
Apart from regular features like, a Jataka story, a feature on a Buddhist pilgrimage place in India and a modern Indian short story, each issue carries articles from Myanmar writers on the manifold aspects of the Indo-Myanmar relationship. Published in color, “India Digest” has become a magazine looked forward to by many readers.
