TOURIST VISA-ON-ARRIVAL (TVOA) SCHEME
TOURIST VISA-ON-ARRIVAL (TVOA) SCHEME FOR MYANMAR NATIONALS WHO WISH TO VISIT INDIA FOR TOURISM
Tourist Visa-On-Arrival(TVOA) scheme has been extended to Myanmar nationals by the Government of India with effect from January 28, 2011. The scheme is valid for all Myanmar nationals planning to visit India for tourism for a short period of up-to a maximum of 30 days.
A Single-Entry tourist Visa-on-Arrival will be granted by Immigration Officers at the International airports of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. The visa fees for the Arrival Visa will be US$ 60 per person. Visa-on-Arrival will be granted for a maximum of two times in a single calendar year. There should be a minimum gap of two months between two visits.
With effect from August 15, 2013, in addition to the four cities mentioned above, the facility of Tourist Visa on Arrival at four additional airports viz. Trivanduram,Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi will be granted.
